About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I received a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and a Post-Master's Certificate in Chemical Dependency Counseling from Saint Cloud State University in 1998.
I got licensed as an addictions counselor and provided counseling in both Inpatient and Outpatient treatment programs, and I worked in the public school system as a Chemical Health Educator in two school districts.

While working in the addictions field as an educator and counselor, I completed the additional courses and internship requirements at Alfred Adler Graduate School, and obtained licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2004.

My interests and continual training have expanded from traditional psychotherapy modalities to include spiritual psychology, energy psychology, integrative mind/body approaches to healing, 12-Step philosophies, health and wellness practices, and breathwork.
